James Goodfellow has been appointed as Cyber Operational Director at SecQuest Information Security Limited, based at the Southampton technical hub.
A former manager in the accounting industry, James brings over 25 years direct experience. This includes advising clients on topics, ranging from security strategy and organisational design; to technical security delivery / implementation.
As a seasoned Cyber Scheme Team Leader, he has led some of the UK’s largest security red team and social engineering programmes, including multi-million-pound testing capabilities across all industry sectors.
James’ operational skills compliment SecQuest as the business continues to deliver complex penetration testing services for clients across the UK. Based in Southampton, his primary responsibilities will be to provide leadership for his team and continue to deliver cyber services to a broad range of clients.
Outside of work James has interests in retro computing and classic cars, hobbies he fits in around a busy family life.
